Meredian Inc. is writing to inform you that we are discontinuing business operations and are phasing out of providing private consumer credit counseling services as of September 22, 2022.
As such, we have identified a non-profit organization that has agreed to continue to provide consumer credit counseling services to you as a contracted client.

Both you as the client and APFSC as your new servicer are bound by the contractual obligations in your debt management plan agreement/contract. There will be no increase or change in fee.
**You will see a NAME change in the monthly ACH draft on your checking or savings account billing statement each month reflecting the new company APFSC. **
Meredian has provided all contractual documents and billing information to APFSC so that they can continue to provide your consumer credit counseling services APFSC without interuption.
As previously stated as per the legal requirement in your DMP agreement both you as a client and APFSC agree to be responsible for adhering to the terms of your original agreement with Meredian. Failure to adhere to your contractual obligations will result in a loss of benefits as creditors do not allow for program benefits to be offered directly to you and all payments to your accounts while in the DMP program MUST be processed by your service provider which is now APFSC.
